i've updated the firmware for the both kit lens to v1.3, surprisingly the AF is faster and the image quality is sharper than before after update. before that i was thinking to let go my kit lens, now i had change my mind.

Lousy and poor service of PB bank

i had been using PB credit card for since year 2006, but i had canceled the card early this year due to their poor customer service. yesterday i received the statement from PB bank and charge me for the annual fee. i was shocked, what the hell is this, i never use the card since early this year how can they charge me for the annual fee. i make a call the their service center and the guy ask me to write a letter to them. ok, fine, this morning, i go to one of the PB branch again to make second attempt to cancel my card. i totally put no hope on local bank and i will never ever apply any credit card from local bank. three words to describe their service : poor, lousy and slow.

Sold off YTLP last week

last week, before YTLP made an announcement of proposed acquisition of Power Seraya (Singapore power energy company), I've decided to sold off YTLP shares on my hands. as the gloomy equity market like now, it's advisable to keep cash rather than equity. before the announcement made to bursa on Tuesday evening, the share price actually goes up from 1.7x to 1.9x within a week time, i knew that the right times has come to let it go despite it declared a dividend of 3.5cents for dec'08 and 3 cents jan'09 respectively. at the time of writing this post, the price of YTLP stood at 1.80. there is foreseeable the price of YTLP would will go down further in few months time due to weaken pounds in UK (60% of revenue came from UK, Wessex water). I'm targeting the price below 1.50 to buy in.
