KSC Treasure Hunt 2008

Last Saturday, I've took part in the treasure hunt organized by KSC (Kelab Shell Cyberjaya) it was the first time that I participated in such event. In this game, each team consisted of 4 persons which is Driver, Navigator and 2 passengers, we have about 16 teams participated in this event. The hunt was started from Shell Cyberjaya and ended at Sepang Gold Coast. at 8am morning, all the contesters were arrived at the Shell building, the organizer brief us about the rules and information of the game and distributed the toolkits to us, we can found notepad, mineral water, breads and pens inside the toolkits. In this amazing hunt, we got to execute total 25 hunt questions and 4 amazing challenges in order to win to prizes. At 8:30am the game start but there is no flag off, coz the organizer said this is not a amazing run but is amazing hunt, as I know this is slightly different from other treasure hunt event. Each team will get a 2 copies of hunt questions and 1 copy of navigation guide from Marshall and before you start your car’s engine, each team got to answer the challenge 1 questions and submit their answers. we quickly get the question answered and submit it and start our hunt. myself as a navigator in this game not only guide the driver and also need to tell the 2 passengers in our car where the questions start. Navigator got to play an importance role to make sure that you are not guiding the driver to "ho lan" (get lost). we passed by many small town along the way to gold coast and you would see that those people staying at this small town are actually very relaxing and enjoying their life, this is far different from lifestyle in KL. Along the way we are busy to hunting the answers and search for treasures to buy, we parked our car at the roadside and walked around to search for answer that can be spotted at the advertisement board, banner and etc as long as anything that u think is related to your question and inside the car we aren't free as well, our 2 passengers behind also busy to crack for the other challenges. treasure hunt is not only hunting the answers but u got to manage ur time well, finally we managed to reached the check point at gold coast on time and submitted our answers sheet. thanks god, we still stand a chance to win the prize, haha, who care the answer is right or wrong. this treasure hunt really killed a lot of our brain cells, we forgot to drink " Bak Lan Si" chicken essence, I think next time we should try to drink before game start. even though our team are not ranked within Top 10 at the end, but we had gain a lot of experience in this event. This is the first time I participated but I didn’t set my expectation high but gain the experience. We hope that next time we can ranked on the billboard.
